Violinist Ngo Hoang Linh
Mr Ngo Hoang Linh is a member of the Jury Board for the String Department, and is currently a lecturer and performing artist for the violin at the Vietnam National Academy of Music
Ngo Hoang Linh coming from an exceptionally musical family in Hanoi began studying the violin at the age of six at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music, and later at the National Academy of Music in Vietnam. After graduating with distinction from the Hanoi Conservatory of Music, he continued his studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.
Ngo Hoang Linh has become a lecturer and performing artist for the violin at the National Academy of Music in Vietnam. Prior to this, he was a member of the Philharmonic de Queretaro orchestra, where he served as Principal Violin 2 and Assistant Concertmaster from 1993 to 1997. Since returning to Vietnam, he has regularly performed as concertmaster and soloist with the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, and other chamber orchestras with Vietnamese and foreign artists
He has performed in many countries around the world and participated in many chamber music programs as a soloist and artistic director. In teaching, he has produced many prize-winning students in international competitions. In 2016, Ngo Hoang Linh was awarded the title of Excellent Artist by the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
